Toxic BPA baby bottles being phased out in Australia
It’s a very very small step in a much larger solution, and that’s the widespread selling of toxic baby bottles in Australia. In news released 1st July 2010, a small group of retailers, Wesfarmers, Woolworths, Big W and Aldi will be phasing out the sale of baby bottles containing Bisphenol-A.

So, where’s the rest of the thousands of pharmacies in the country selling toxic baby bottles to unsuspecting parents? And what about the largest selling brand of baby bottles, Avent? So many of their bottles still contain BPA in them. Find out if your Avent baby bottle is BPA Free here.
It would be nice to know how long this ‘phase out’ is going to take and whether the entire country is going to be forced to follow suit.
